To the disappointment of some and the relief of others, you’ll quickly find that you cannot manifest bad things for others. This is because the nature of manifestation, and the broader law of attraction, gives you more significant influence over your life and your surroundings. You have control over your domain and can optimise that control with the law of attraction. However, you cannot use those same abilities and that insight to bring harm to others.

Considering the spiritual nature of the law of attraction and all the talk of positivity and gratitude, many practitioners find themselves virtually eliminating anything involving harm and bad things for themselves or others. However, no matter how active you are in manifestation, and no matter your experience levels, life goes on – and it has a habit of throwing things we might not have been expecting at us.

However, allowing negative thoughts to creep in only hampers our own positive energies. It’s vital to understand immediately that harmful intent spawns negative energy, and that’s what will ultimately come back to you. As I’ve mentioned many times, this kind of energy is far less potent than its positive counterpart. You won’t wish ill on someone else and find it happens to you. However, you’ll interrupt your own connection with the universe, potentially set your own manifestations back and derail the positive habits that have made successful manifestation possible.

If You Can’t Manifest Bad Things for Others, What Can You Do Instead?

We touched on a similar concept to this quite a while ago here at Widibi in a couple of relevant yet contrasting articles:

Between them, these articles illustrate the perfect answer to the question, “can you manifest bad things for others?”

You can’t use manifestation to impact someone else negatively, and, as already noted, the negative energy output required to do so would probably make you just as badly off – if not worse! However, what you can do is focus on your own reality. Then, if someone’s presence in your life causes a negative influence on your own positivity, you can work with the universe to remove them.

In practical terms, you won’t need to manifest something negative for someone else, as they’ll no longer be relevant to you. They may well continue doing whatever it is that caused you to enter the frame of mind whereby you wanted to cause them harm, but it won’t affect you in the slightest.

Negative Manifestation is Difficult at the Best of Times

I mentioned earlier just how much more powerful positive energy is than its negative counterpart. As a result, the vast majority of people don’t want to manifest something bad for themselves. After all, if you’ve got the ability to manifest something good, why waste your time on negativity?

If everyone is always manifesting through their thoughts, even if they have no knowledge or interest in the law of attraction, you’d expect more bad things to happen to people, right? Sure, life is rarely easy, and bad things can creep up on us. However, the average person that doesn’t actively manifest isn’t necessarily lacking for comfort and happiness.

Allowing negative thoughts to creep in only hampers our own positive energies.

Well, if you think the positive manifestations you work on take time and effort, negative manifestations take things to a whole new level. You’d have to be a very negative person almost constantly to start seeing it impact your overall lifestyle and well-being.

Fortunately, if you’re interested in manifestation and the law of attraction, then the chances are you at least want to be positive, even if you’re struggling at the moment. If that’s the case, then make sure to check out our article on manifesting positivity, which works better than you might think!

Can You Manifest Bad Things for Others? – In Summary

Manifestation is both a positive and personal experience, and so, as such, you can’t manifest bad things for someone else.

If such thoughts cross your mind, make a point of considering the ‘why’ of those intentions. What is it about that person that makes you want to manifest something bad on their behalf? Once you’re clear on that, you can begin to take action, and the manifestation process is on your side.

When it all comes down to it, manifesting is all about YOU!

If your life would be better without them in it, manifest them out of it. For example, if they’re preventing you from fulfilling your potential at work, maybe you’re not in your dream job – so work on manifesting that instead. Then, unless they happen to follow you to your new place of employment, you’ll enjoy the side effect of removing them from your life without any need to focus on it directly!

When it all comes down to it, manifesting is all about YOU. Focus on who you are, where you are and where you want to be, and pay no attention to those around you that stand between you and reaching your goals. If you’re positive and grateful, the universe will manifest your desires, even if that means removing others from your sphere of influence in the process.
