Yes, affirmations can make you rich, or they can at least help you along the way. However, as with most things in life, you can’t necessarily expect to fulfill all your financial goals overnight. Instead, you need to be prepared to spend time and effort on your affirmations to make the money that makes a difference to you.

I’d hazard a guess that a decent number of people that look into affirmations do so because they’re wondering whether affirmations can make you rich. Say what you will about the love of money being the root of all evil. Most people would be happy with a bit more of it, and I’m no exception. Fortunately, affirmations can certainly help to make you rich, but I won’t pretend it will necessarily be quick or easy.

Affirmations are capable of just about anything, but it’s not as simple as affirming “I am rich.” That’s certainly part of the process, but much more goes into manifesting with affirmations. Indeed, it’s rarely just a case of affirming that you’re rich and watching your bank account fill up. In many cases, affirmations for money are more about attracting money to you than directly receiving a certain amount.

Wealth Through Affirmations Starts with the Right Affirmation

If you want to get rich through affirmations, you need to get your affirmation right. Let’s take a look at the components of a positive affirmation:

The components of a positive affirmation

This example applies to jobs, but the same principles also apply to everything else, including wealth. If you want affirmations to make you rich, you need to craft something simple, effective, and relevant.

For money specifically, not much changes. You can grab the ‘I am’ and ‘hugely grateful’ parts from the above example.

Then, you need to make it personal. Do you want to be the richest person in the world? Perhaps you’d like to just make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable life each month.

When settling on an affirmation, remember that the more the universe has to do to make your manifestation happen, the longer it will take. Sadly, the energies around us don’t have the same concept of time as we do. As such, while it feels like it’s doing things quickly and exactly when you need them, it can take days, weeks, or even years in our physical reality.

So, before writing your affirmation, think about where you are now. How much cash do you have on hand right now? How much would you like? Do you have any great ideas about how to get from where you are now to where you need to be?

If you can be specific about how you expect to receive those riches, all the better. The most common way to receive a comfortable monthly amount is through a job, so perhaps your affirmation should focus on landing that rather than wanting money to appear out of nowhere.

Of course, a job might not fit your schedule or mindset. It certainly doesn’t for me – that’s why I write a lot of words every day and hope that, between them, they earn enough to keep me above water!

I’ve heard and read stories of people manifesting lottery wins or being general in their hopes and receiving money in unexpected ways. However, something as simple as leaving things to chance can mean that your manifestation won’t arrive in what you consider to be a timely manner.

One of the best ways to remove manifestation obstacles is to take positive action. You can’t manifest a lottery win if you don’t buy a ticket, and you can’t land your dream job if you never apply.

By all means, leave it general if you must, but the more specific you can be in your affirmation, the better.

You’ve Written Your Affirmation – Now What?

Now you’ve got your affirmation to hand; it’s time to put it to work with a ritual, habit, or technique.

This part is tricky because not every technique works for everyone. Anything that starts feeling like a chore is likely to knock you out of the appropriate mindset for manifesting. That’s why the 5×55 method can be so challenging. I’m a writer, and I love it, but the thought of writing the same sentence 55 times every day might send some people ducking for cover!

Now you’ve got your affirmation in hand, try out one of the following techniques:

If I could give one crucial piece of advice to anyone tackling these options for the first time, I’d suggest going for one that involves consistency. Consistency, I believe, is perhaps the most powerful word in manifesting.

That’s primarily because to attract what you want; you need to display similar emotions and energies. If you want wealth, you need to act wealthy – not to mention positive and grateful.

Affirmations for Wealth Without the Law of Attraction

The beauty of affirmations is that they’re not only applicable to the law of attraction and manifesting. There are thousands of people out there that affirm things each day with no intention of receiving help from energies or angels. Their affirmations are nothing more than compliments and promises to themselves that will make them a better person.

If you start each day by saying, “I’m grateful to always have all the money I need,” then chances are you’ll always find yourself in that position. Whether through universal laws or anything else, making commitments to yourself often results in them coming true.

It might just be a change in mindset. You’ll remember the commitment to yourself and find that you start spending less frivolously. Suddenly, you have the money you need because you shift your focus from what you want to what you need. And, as they say, a penny saved is a penny earned!

Can Affirmations Make You Rich? – In Summary

Yes, whether you use the law of attraction or you prefer to use affirmations on a more human, personal level, affirmations can make you rich. It might not happen overnight, but it can and will happen, and you need to be ready and willing to receive the abundance coming your way through consistency and commitment to yourself!
